Senior Life Services of Morgan County
106 Sand Mine Road, Suite 1, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411
Over 3,500 senior citizens call Morgan County home. Some older Americans are active and need creative outlets for their free time, while others may need help with their daily activities. In either case, Senior Life Services of Morgan County (SLSMC) offers our seniors a variety of programs and activities to fit their individual needs.
For those individuals looking for creative ways to spend some of their free time, SLSMC offers a wide range of opportunities and activities including (but not limited to) the following: daily lunch, bingo, exercise classes, bridge groups, yoga, craft classes, shopping trips, games and other fun and exciting activities. People live longer, healthier, happier lives when they socialize with others. Our programs at the Morgan County Senior Center help to keep our minds and bodies active.
For those individuals who are to the point where they may need to depend on daily assistance, SLSMC offers a full range of services structured to enhance the quality of their lives, maintain independence, and prevent premature nursing home placement. These include: In-home care (Medicaid Waiver, Personal Care, Respite), Medicaid Waiver Case Management, transportation, home-delivered meals, information and assistance, medical supply lending closet and other quality programs.
All of our services are supported by suggested donations. We do not turn any person away based on their ability to pay. Senior Life Services of Morgan County is funded by the WV Bureau of Senior Services, the Upper Potomac Area Agency on Aging and private donations from members and friends.
